These girls we’re very young, on their way to the “Glow” event in Santa Monica, and approaching a liquor store in a semi-shaky area of Santa Monica where there have been numerous shootings in the past ten years. There’s always a good portion of transients and generally seediness around this area and these two young ladies approached this liquor store with palpable apprehension… which is clearly visible in a prior shot.
