My son appreciates your “rule of thirds” in that last shot. Once again, the immortal words of ZZ Top are proven: Every girl crazy ’bout a sharp-dressed man. Ah, the power of the tie clip.
Everything is new, if you haven’t seen it before. These are definitely worth it !
Thank you! I have a lot of old new posts coming in the near future. I think I’m going to call a flashback Fridays or something. I’m going to tame this blog animal if its the last thing I do. At some point. Maybe get it down to four posts a week. A flashback post one day. A column another day. A bunch of current images another. and then maybe a few items from around the web… content aggregator style. Anyway. Thank you!
🙂 Glad to give another artist some encouragement…and very grateful for yours!!!!!
This is what Joel Meyerowitz would call “artistic tendency”. In fact, he did when he saw that in some photographs taken by Vivian Maier where she had worked around a subject. Great!
Just got one minor gripe: Those poles growing out of them ladies’ heads.
But nice work still. Photographing old folks makes me wary. If they decide to smack me I know I can’t smack back. Haha!
Love both of these shots, Donald! The top photo has such wonderful balance while the bottom is all about his expression. Nice.
Thank you, Mike! Truly appreciate your comments!

Ahahaha! Thank you and your son and I guess ZZ Top!
These are great shots.
Thank you, Jonathan! Very much appreciated.
These are nice shots. I love how the man in the suit stands out. The shots convey that he is dressed to impress and he know’s it!
lol. I agree. A lot going on there. He’s got the kind of charisma and attitude I only hope I have at his age. Thank you for visiting.

Cheers!
hahaha! there’s something metaphorical about those poles I think.
and you can just go ahead and smack them back. but that’s not a legal opinion. more like a metaphor as well. 😉
How sweet!
lol. Thank you, Rosa!
