Thank you, Paulo. One of the reasons I love my 50 Summicron so much is how it ‘draws’ (I hate the language of some of this stuff…) faces and heads out near the edges of the frame. Just absolutely perfect. I don’t think the Zeiss 50 1.5 or (speaking sacrilege) the 50’Lux does quite the same job. To my eye anyway. For me, and his picture exemplifies it, you can see the very classic Leica-look that was implanted in all of our aesthetic sensibilities by the greats shooting 50 Crons and even larger format cameras.
