I have to admit I’m probably not ax respectful of a virus that can be thwarted with a bandana and some soap and water. Michael Crichton would be rolling his eyes.

My only memory of the movie was it not being as detailed as the book? It must not have left an impression beyond that as I’ve built a dozen or so vivariums and other animal housing for research facilities. I am very conscious of the differences between different biohazard levels 😆 and a cloth mask isn’t part of it. But then there’s our everyday reality now which isn’t in a lab setting.
Ah, now I see how we can at least return to bumping elbows! It’s not as dark as we feared 😁
There’s something hard-wired into us to climb a tree to impress the girls. We did it when we were 10. Now there it is in Santa Monica. Science.
