I’ve never posted this picture because I always considered it such a painful failure. To focus the camera quickly enough. And it really bothered me for a long time. But now looking at it, I just remember the incredible moment, the light, the beauty and I don’t remember the pain of failure so much anymore.
I keep rediscovering that quite often the picture I got wasn’t the one I took š I usually try to wait long enough to forget what I was taking, and really look at what I actually got. It sometimes takes years!

I don’t see a failure at all. Sometimes distance from a photo and a detachment from the emotion allows us to evaluate it more fairly.
