More, Even Better, Ancient Street Shots of Los Angeles

Again, these images were taken with one of the first great digital cameras, the Nikon Coolpix 950. Probably from around 2000 to 2004. I had so much fun with this camera that twisted the part with the viewfinder from the side with the lens. Twisty little sucker. Like having a viewfinder camera and I don’t know why I remember it being ‘live view.’ Maybe I’m misremembering. Anyway. Yet even more images to come tomorrow.

    1. Thank you SO much! I’m finding that posting this burst of old work to be one of the most gratifying moments I’ve had on 50lux. I love the tiled mosaic gallery feature here on WordPress and always intended to display these images via using it but sometimes it just takes a long time for everything to line up in my head and world to actually do it. I’m on a roll now though. This weekend I’m going to post a bunch of night shots from this same period of time. Anyway. Thank you so much for visiting and commenting!

      1. It serves them perfectly. Presentation is one of the most underrated topics in Photography. This feature underlines the casual character of your picture. Certainly a plus! Looking back into your archive means a lot. It shows where you are coming from and how you developed your connection with street photography. I’m looking forward to see some more sets 😉
